Bar Options

All events must comply with NYS liquor laws. Two options:
  • DIY Bar - beer, wine & cider ONLY
    • Requires couple to obtain NYS temp permit ($38)
    • Independent bartenders serve
    • Can save money, but beware several couples have run out of booze, ice, etc.-- not fun on your wedding day!
  • Licensed liquid caterer / Food caterer with off premise liquor license
    • Hire licensed off-premise beverage caterer - must provide proof of license and insurance
    • Only way to offer full bar service (liquor, open bar packages)
    • Can provide recommendations
